10 body parts reveal penis size, by country! Research on the average man that’ll really surprise you!

Can your height, butt, fingers, nose, feet, and more, predict the size of your penis? How do you know just by looking at someone how long his penis might be? How true is this by country? In this article, I will show you 10 body parts or body characteristics that may correlate with penile length, AND tell you for which countries and ethnicities the evidence exists.

Before we start, please note that you cannot take these research conclusions as the absolute truth because:

  • One: we are talking about correlation on an average basis. That means it may not be true for some people at all.
  • Two: the quality of these research studies differs.
  • Three: the age of the subjects varies quite a bit.
  • Four: what is true for one country does not mean it’s true for another country. By the way, if I don’t mention your country, it does not mean that it is true or not true for your country. It just means that there’s no research for this for your country, OR there’s research but I just missed it.

Characteristic #1. Height. Taller = longer penis?

Is it true that the taller you are, the longer your penis is? The answer is yes! However, the evidence exists only for men in 4 countries: Italy, Nigeria, Iran, and Turkey. In this Italian study of 3300 men, and this study of 271 men from Nigeria, and this Iranian study, the researchers concluded that yes: the taller men had longer penises. But for the Turkish study, it is a weak positive correlation though.

But this may or may not be true if you are from India, because there are conflicting studies for India. So we are only going to put ‘yes’ for Italy, Nigeria, and Iran. And a weak yes for Turkey. And a maybe for India.

Characteristic #2. Nose size. Bigger nose = bigger penis?

If you have a bigger nose, does that mean you have a bigger penis? The answer is: only IF you are from Japan or South Korea! In this Japanese study, and in this South Korean study, the researchers found that there is significant correlation between nose size and penile length.

There’s no research on nose size from other countries though, so I really don’t think you can say that all non-Japanese and non-Korean men with big noses have big penises. Otherwise, it’s like saying because Japanese and Korean men eat raw fish, so all men everywhere must also eat raw fish. So we can put yes only for Japan and for South Korea.

Characteristic #3. 2D:4D Ratio. Low 2D:4D ratio = longer penis?

Does the second finger to fourth finger length ratio correlate with penis size? This ratio is very interesting because it does seem to predict penis length in many different countries. According to this study, if you have a low 2D:4D ratio, you probably have a longer penis. To figure out the 2D:4D ratio, you measure the length of the second finger, which is the fore finger, from the crease to the tip. You then do the same for the fourth finger, which is the ring finger. And then you divide the second finger length by the fourth finger length. That’s the 2D:4D ratio.

But why does the 2D:4D ratio predict a longer penis? The reason, according to this study, is that men have a low 2D:4D ratio because they were exposed to more testosterone as a fetus. In other words, when these men were still in their mothers’ uterus, they were exposed to more testosterone than usual, causing their fourth finger as well as their penis to grow longer.

You can see this happening even in females, by the way. According to this study, females with congenital adrenal hyperplasia (CAH) also have a lower 2D:4D ratio than normal females. This is a disorder where these females when they were fetuses were exposed to high levels of male hormones.

What is even more interesting is that different ethnicities have different 2D:4D ratios that correlate with their penile length. According to this study which looked at 798 boys (90 Caucasian Berbers, 438 Uygurs, 118 Han Chinese, and 152 African Jamaicans), African Jamaicans have the lowest 2D:4D ratio followed by Caucasian Berbers and Uygurs, then by Han Chinese. In other words, African Jamaicans with the lowest 2D:4D ratio have the longest penises of them all.

So we will put yes for these ethnicities followed by low, medium, or high 2D:4D ratio if it’s known.

Characteristic #4. Index finger. Long index finger = longer penis?

Can just the length of the second finger, which is the index or fore finger, predict how long the penis is? Apparently yes! But maybe just for men from Iran and Egypt, as shown in this Iranian study and this Egyptian study.

So we will put yes under index finger length for Iran and Egypt.

Characteristic #5. Body Mass Index. Bigger BMI = longer penis?

What about the body mass index, or BMI, as a predictor of penile length? First, BMI is calculated like this: (height in M) squared / weight in kg.

BMI does correlate but maybe just for men from Iran and Egypt, as shown again in this Iranian study and this Egyptian study.

Very importantly BMI does NOT correlate with penile length for Nigeria, Turkey, India, South Korea! As shown in this Nigerian study, this Turkish study, this Indian study, and this South Korean study.

So we will put yes for Iran and Egypt, but no for Nigeria, Turkey, India, and South Korea.

Characteristic #6. Weight. Bigger weight = longer penis?

So what about weight by itself as a predictor of penile length? Well, most studies does not show weight correlates, for example this study from Iran and this study from India.

But you know research from which country does show a correlation? Italy! As shown in this Italian study. And also this Turkish study, but with a weak yes.

So we will show no for Iran and India, but yes for Italy, and a weak yes for Turkey.

Characteristic #7. AGD. Long AGD = longer penis?

Do you know that the distance from the center of the anus to the start of the scrotum, also known as the AGD, correlates really well with penile length? That means the longer the AGD, the longer the penis. According to this review, the reason could be because during fetal development, the AGD as well as the penis are both positively affected by male hormones.

Research from many countries show this strong correlation between the AGD and penile length. As seen in this Nigerian study, this Turkish study, this Iranian study, and this Egyptian study. But a word of caution: these studies are all on babies or toddlers. So we don’t actually know how true that is in adult men.

So we will put yes in all 4 of these countries for the AGD.

Characteristic #8. Testicular size. Bigger testicles = longer penis?

What about testicular size as a correlator of penis size? It makes sense that the longer the penis the bigger the testicles. And this Indian study, as well as this Indian study, conclude just that for Indian babies. While this Turkish study says there’s a weak positive correlation for men around 20 years old. And this South Korean study says that the larger the testicle, the thicker the penis, for adult south Korean men.

So we will put yes for India and South Korea, and a weak yes for Turkey. And a yes for thickness for S Korea.

Characteristic #9. Foot length. Bigger feet = longer penis?

Do you have a bigger penis if you have big feet? The answer depends on where you are from. If you are from India, then the answer is yes! If you are an Indian baby that is. According to this Indian study.

But, the answer is no if you are from the UK, as seen in this UK study.

So for the foot length correlation, a yes for India but a no for the UK.

Characteristic #10. Butt size. Bigger butt = longer penis?

If you have a big butt, does that mean that you have a big penis? Well, the answer is yes! But wait! That’s proven true only in Nigeria though, as seen in this Nigerian study.

So we can only put a yes for Nigeria.

Conclusion.

Isn’t interesting how different body parts or body characteristics show a correlation for penile length? And, as we have seen, what is true for one country may not mean it’s true for another country.
