Are testosterone boosters more effective than Viagra or Cialis? Which testosterone boosters are scams and which ones are the real deal? Exactly how much more testosterone can these boosters increase? In this video, I will show you everything you need to know about the testosterone boosters that work. AND tell you what percent increase in testosterone you can expect, based on scientific research.
Before we start, please note that some of the research studies are quite small, so may not be as reliable as bigger studies.
Fenugreek Seed Extract
Have you heard that fenugreek is used to increase breast milk during breastfeeding? So can something that helps women also increase men’s testosterone? Surprisingly, the answer might be yes!
In this study, 16 men received single dose of 600 mg, and 10 hours later, their testosterone increased 28.0%.
In this stud, of 30 men, they took 500mg everyday for 8 weeks. Their increase in testosterone was on average 6.6%.
In this study, 40 men took 250mg twice a day for 12 weeks, resulting in a 22.7% boost in testosterone.
In this study, 120 men took 600mg everyday for 12 weeks, and their testosterone increased 12.2%.
So it looks like fenugreek may actually increase testosterone, ranging from 6.6% to 28%. However, please note that these studies are not big studies. But, the results seem to be positive, so, fenugreek might be a good option to consider.
So, Fenugreek Seed Extract may increase testosterone by about 28%.
Forskohlii
Surprisingly, many people use Forskohlii root extract to help reduce body fat. But can it also increase testosterone levels in men? Forskohlii root extract contains forskolin.
In this stud, of 30 men, they took 500mg everyday for 12 weeks. Their increase in testosterone was on average 13.6%.
A 13.6% increase in testosterone seems pretty good! However, I have found only one study proving its effectiveness, but the sample size is very small, at just 30 men. So, although 13.6% is not bad, I would be more confident that it works well if there are many more bigger studies.
So, Forskohlii root extract may increase testosterone by about 13.6%.
By the way, Forskolin might change how some medications work when taken at the same time. Therefore, it’s important to consult a doctor before using it.

Ashwagandha
Do you know that the word “Ashwagandha” means the smell of horses in the Indian language Sanskrit? So why would anyone want to take a herb that smells like a horse? Actually, it does not smell like a horse! Instead, it’s supposed to give you the energy of a strong horse. But does it actually work to increase testosterone?
In this study, 57 men took a daily dose of 21mg for 8 weeks, resulting in a 16.6% boost in testosterone.
In this study, 57 men took 600mg everyday for 8 weeks, and their testosterone increased 15.3%. (62)
In this stud, of 46 men, they took 675mg everyday for 90 days. Their increase in testosterone was on average 17.3%. (35)
Although the sample sizes were all below a hundred, three studies reported an average increase in testosterone levels by 15.3%-17.3%. So, it looks like ashwagandha may be effective in increasing testosterone.
Also, the amount of Ashwagandha used in each study is so different, ranging from 21 milligrams to 600 milligrams, but they all show similar effects. Does it mean that Ashwagandha works no matter how much you take?
I’m not sure. People who have tried it can leave a comment below.
So, Ashwagandha may increase testosterone by about 17.3%.
Asian Red Ginseng
Do you know why rich ancient Chinese men must eat ginseng everyday? The reason is that they must satisfy their many wives every night! And ginseng was the Viagra in ancient China. But wait! Is there actual scientific proof that ginseng can increase testosterone?
In this study, 72men took 3 grams everyday for 4 weeks, and their testosterone increased 5.6%.
I only found 7 studies on whether or not asian red ginseng increases testosterone. Of these 7, only 1 study, which is the one I just presented, showed a positive result. And that was not a big study. Plus, a Korean ginseng company sponsored that study. So is the result reliable? I am not sure.
So, Asian red ginseng may increase testosterone only by a little bit, by about 5.6%.
Conclusion. I hope you guys found it useful to learn which testosterone boosters actually work, and exactly what percent increase in testosterone you can expect.
